ASMITHMUSIC LLC was created by Andrew Smith to make music accessible:
-to the Artist (defined as those performing with and learning about music in any capacity)
-to the Audience (defined as those experiencing the performed art via a concert, recital, or production)
-and for The Art (defined as the musical art form that has given us at ASMITHMUSIC our voices, our ears, and our lives)

Skilled in the areas of Voice, Music Theory, Aural Skills, Composition and Choral Conducting, this instructor brings his personal expertise to the field of music. He has the ability to create a lesson tailored to all musicians at different levels and has done so since 2009. Andrew has his Masters of Music degree and has successfully assisted many musicians with gaining a better understanding of the tools necessary to become great musicians. Andrew also serves as an ASMITHMUSIC Creative.

Courtney Thorpe
singer, writer, arranger, composer
Skilled in Voice, Music Theory and Harmony, this instructor brings her contemporary understanding and flare to the field of music. Courtney has the experience of working as a background vocalist and has done BGV's for Donnie McClurkin, Fred Hammond, Sting and many more. Her understanding of the music industry and the sound makes her a great candidate for teaching voice classes. She currently teaches Voice and Music Theory lessons to beginners of all ages. She loves to encourage her students to develop their technique and master the skills necessary to aide them in the career paths of their choosing. Courtney also serves as an ASMITHMUSIC Creative.

Below are persons who are willing to help create and develop ASMITHMUSIC ACTS Projects and whom assist on the various projects. The term "Creative" refers to an artist of any field that is a part of ASMITHMUSIC and will work within the ASMITHMUSIC Creative Team to get your project completed. The term "Associate" refers to an artist of any field who is not apart of ASMITHMUSIC but is an outsourced contractor with ASMITHMUSIC. As an Associate, they will work as an individual for your project and make it just as amazing! If you are interested in being an ASMITHMUSIC Creative or Associate, please contact us.
PRINCE MONICO
ASMITHMUSIC CREATIVE
Singer/Songwriter
Born and raised in Washington, DC.., this singer/songwriter has performed over 10,000 hours on an array of stages with many professional artists throughout the country. Monico has worked with artists including, John Legend, Sia, and Earth, Wind and Fire in song writing workshops. He is a multi-genre singer/songwriter and his music is currently streaming on most digital platforms.

Born and raised in the DMV, Jamal continues to be a skilled pianist and musician who enjoys creating new music. He is a recent graduate of the Berklee School of Music in Boston and has been apart of many ensembles on the east coast including the Harlem Gospel Choir. Jamal is also the co-founder of the gospel group called, The Millennials.
