As a part of the ASMITHMUSIC Preservation Project, which is focused on preserving lost or declining musical genres, music composers, and educational systems, we will be hosting our very first Sacred Music Festival in Washington, D.C. This three-day event will feature an open reeharsal and reading session with The Sam Bonds Chorale, the first Edward Jackson Sacred Music Competition,  and a full concert by The Sam Bonds Chorale. Mark your calendars for this fantastic weekend of uplifting spirituals, choral anthems, oratorio, cantatas, and hymns.
